Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time school-based position in Wayne County, Michigan for the 2026–2027 school year.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success within a collaborative educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and school staff
- Support the development of behavioral and academic interventions
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote student success
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
Qualifications:
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist credential/certification
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
