Bookkeeping & Environmental Support Assistant
McAfee Safety Analysis, Inc. (MSA) is seeking a motivated and energetic student to support our accounting, bookkeeping, and environmental consulting operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both business administration and environmental health and safety consulting.
The ideal candidate is a college student interested in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, environmental science, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, biology, chemistry, or a related field. International students are encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Enter and organize financial data and records
- Support invoice tracking and document management
- Assist with QuickBooks data entry and recordkeeping
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
- Support administrative and office operations
- Assist with environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety projects as needed
- Participate in field sampling and data collection activities when opportunities arise
- Support project documentation and report preparation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current college student or recent graduate
- Coursework in Accounting, Business, Finance, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn both office and field-related tasks
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
