Assistant project Manager

SuperStars Contracting Inc. is a family-owned general contracting and façade restoration company serving the New York metropolitan area since 2002. We specialize in façade restoration, FISP (Local Law 11) compliance, rope access inspections, roofing, parking garage restoration, and exterior building repairs. Our clients include co-ops, condominiums, property managers, engineers, and institutions throughout NYC.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student or recent graduate to join our team as a Project Engineer / Construction Management Intern. This position provides hands-on exposure to construction operations, project management, façade inspections, estimating, and field coordination on active projects throughout New York City.

This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers with daily construction operations
  • Attend project meetings and site visits
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Help prepare proposals, estimates, and bid packages
  • Track project schedules and material deliveries
  • Review drawings, specifications, and field reports
  • Assist with façade inspection and restoration projects
  • Support documentation, reporting, and closeout activities
  • Learn NYC building regulations, FISP requirements, and façade restoration practices

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license preferred but not required
  • Interest in construction, project management, and building restoration
