Full-Time Bookkeeper Position

 

Our Accounting Firm, located in Canaan, CT is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to fill a full-time position. Candidates must possess at a minimum an Associate’s Degree in accounting and have proficiency in bookkeeping to be considered for the position. The position will require experience with QuickBooks Online, various point of sale systems, and Microsoft Excel. Core job duties will entail all activities associated with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations. Qualifying candidates must also be familiar with posting journal entries, preparing sales tax returns, and payroll preparation. This position requires coordinating effectively with the internal team while independently balancing multiple client accounts with diligent attention to detail and accuracy. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's level of experience and education.
