Compensation Range: $45,000 - $60,000 annually + commission

Essential Duties:
New Business & Sales Support
- Prospecting & Quoting: Partner with sales producers to analyze a prospect's risk profile, gather required data, and prepare marketing submissions to obtain quotes from carriers.
- Presenting Options: Educate new clients on coverage options, exposures, and policy exclusions.
- Closing & Binding: Present insurance proposals, negotiate terms, finalize coverages, and issue binders for new policies.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to round out existing accounts and sell additional policies (e.g., adding liability to a property policy).
Account Servicing & Maintenance
- Policy Management: Process endorsements, policy changes, and routine billing inquiries.
- Renewals: Compile renewal data, remarket submissions, and assist clients with securing optimal coverage.
- Claims Advocacy: Guide clients through the claims process, gather necessary documentation, and communicate with adjusters to ensure prompt resolution.
Relationship Management
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Attend team, client, and carrier meetings while building and maintaining strong relationships with underwriters, carriers, agency producers, and other industry partners.
- Client Advocacy: Maintain proactive communication to ensure client satisfaction, answer complex coverage questions, and protect clients from coverage gaps.
Administrative & Compliance
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date client files and policy transactions in the agency management system.
- Licensing: Maintain valid insurance license, as well industry, carrier, & product knowledge
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant education or work experience preferred
Valid Missouri insurance license required within 60 days of employment. IASTL is willing to support examination costs and license renewal fees.
Availability to work in the office five days per week during business hours
Ability to utilize the phone, computer, software, and online systems necessary to perform essential duties
Physical demands include prolonged sitting, prolonged screen time, movement throughout the building, verbal and written communication
Cognitive demands include sustained concentration, multitasking
