Job Title: Associate Specialist/ Engineer Platform Application Management
Work Location: Guam
Job Overview:
Associate Specialist is responsible for application management of client production, test, and dev systems. Responsibilities include tier 2 and 3 support that list but not limited to application up keep, troubleshooting, vendor coordination and assistance, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve an issue. Additional responsibilities include being assigned as a SME or technical resource for large scale projects. SME are expected to know the execute the following application integration, upgrade, deployment, and migrations or cutovers.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
Experience: 3–6+ years of overall IT experience
3+ years in Service or Helpdesk, Information system, Infrastructure, System Analyst, Information Security, or Application Management Roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams in written, electronic, and verbal formats.
- Plan and coordinate go lives for projects, perform upgrade, rollback, and integrate application systems.
- Troubleshoot production, test, and dev issues.
- Day to day operations and assisting with incidents, service requests, and change management.
- Create, design, understand application documentation, process flows, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure adherence to change management, security policies and procedures, and audit standards
- Up keep of services and process that pertain to an application housed on server Infrastructure. Windows components: IIS, .NET Core Applications, Database- MSSQL
- Review processes for both internal and client to explore ways to automate tasks or create more efficiency.
- Act as the SME applications managed by the client
- Work with SSL setup integrations, configurations and management.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to operational best practices
- Excellent customer service .
