Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
  • Monitor batch jobs, perform deployments, and resolve production issues.
  • Collaborate with business, QA, and technical teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and application support.
  • Track deliverables, communicate status, and manage risks/issues proactively.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of IDCAMS, SORT, IEBGENER, Fault Analyzer, CA-11, Endevor, and ISPW.
  • Experience with MQ, Web Services, and z/OS Connect.
  • Understanding of mainframe batch, online, and integration architecture.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
