TechTab is built around long-term relationships with both clients and employees. We believe excellent work, ownership of outcomes, and a strong team culture create better results for everyone.

About the Role

TechTab is hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, customize, integrate, and support high-quality Salesforce solutions for client projects.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced Salesforce developer who wants meaningful ownership, direct client impact, and a place to build a long-term career. You’ll work closely with architects, consultants, clients, and other developers across Salesforce configuration, Apex development, Lightning Web Components, automation, integrations, deployments, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

The right candidate has strong Salesforce development experience, sound engineering judgment, and pride in delivering clean, maintainable solutions. You should be comfortable translating business requirements into scalable technical work, communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and balancing Salesforce best practices with practical delivery needs.

As TechTab grows, this role offers the opportunity to take on larger technical ownership, help shape internal delivery standards, and be part of a company that values and rewards excellent work.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, SOQL, Flows, Lightning Web Components, and platform configuration
Design and implement scalable functionality across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform
  • Configure objects, fields, validation rules, record-triggered flows, screen flows, approval processes, permissions, and other platform features
  • Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, middleware tools, and Salesforce-native integration patterns
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, implementation plans, and development tasks
  • Troubleshoot bugs, resolve production issues, optimize performance, and improve user experience
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, testing, QA, UAT support, and production deployments
  • Support deployment and release processes using Salesforce CLI, Git, Gearset, Copado, or similar tools
  • Create technical documentation, solution notes, configuration guides, and handoff materials
  • Join client calls to support discovery, solution design, demos, testing, and deployment
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal delivery standards, reusable components, and best practices

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce developer with at least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

The right candidate has strong experience with Apex, SOQL, Salesforce automation, Lightning Web Components, and platform configuration. They understand how to design scalable Salesforce solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and build maintainable functionality that supports real business processes.

Candidates should also have experience with APIs and integrations, including REST, JSON, HTTP, authentication patterns, and data synchronization concepts. Experience with Git-based development workflows, deployment tools, and structured release processes is strongly preferred.

We’re looking for someone analytical, detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable working directly with both technical and business stakeholders. Ownership, reliability, curiosity, and the ability to work independently are important for this role.

Candidates must be currently located in the United States, authorized to work in the United States, and must not require employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Strong Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce platform development skills
  • Experience building Lightning Web Components
  • Experience designing and building Salesforce automation using Flows and platform tools
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration, including objects, fields, page layouts, permissions, validation rules, and record types
  • Experience developing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and related integration concepts
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data model design, governor limits, and scalable development patterns
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting QA, UAT, and deployment activities
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation tasks
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing environment

Nice to Have

  • Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Platform App Builder, Application Architect, Platform Data Architect, Platform Sharing and Visibility Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant, Agentforce Specialist, or AI Associate

  • Experience with middleware platforms or integration tools such as MuleSoft, Workato, Zapier, Boomi, or similar
  • Experience with Salesforce CLI, Git, CI/CD, Gearset, Copado, or other DevOps tools
  • Experience with enterprise integrations involving ERP, marketing automation, payment platforms, data warehouses, or custom applications
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical workstreams
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, user stories, sprint planning, and client-facing consulting environments
  • Experience with data migration, data modeling, performance optimization, or large-scale Salesforce orgs
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, SQL, data pipelines, or broader SaaS platforms
