Forward Deployed Product Manager

About the role Kadre Labs is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer / Product Manager to sit at the intersection of our customers and our technology. You'll be the person who walks into a client problem, figures out what to build, and then actually builds a working MVP to prove it out — using modern AI tools to move from idea to demo in days, not months. This is a role for someone equally comfortable in a strategy conversation, a client working session, and a late-night prototype sprint.

What you'll do

• Own client engagements end to end — scoping needs, mapping workflows, and translating messy business problems into clear product requirements.
• Rapidly build MVPs and prototypes using AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Replit, n8n) to validate ideas and demo solutions before full engineering investment.
• Partner with our engineering team to harden promising prototypes into production-grade deployments in customer environments.
• Run discovery, demos, and onboarding; become the trusted voice the client turns to.
• Close the loop between what customers need and what we build, shaping the product roadmap from the field.
• Measure impact and drive adoption — make sure deployments deliver real outcomes, not just deliverables.

Who you are

• MBA, Management Information Systems, or a similar background blending business and technology.
• Fluent with AI tools and unafraid to build — you've used AI assistants and no-code/low-code platforms to ship something real, even if you're not a trained software engineer.
• Strong communicator who can hold a room with executives and a working session with engineers.
• Comfortable getting hands-on with data and tools — SQL, APIs, automation.
• Structured problem-solver who's energized by ambiguity, ownership, and a blank canvas.
• Bonus: exposure to AI/LLM products, consulting, or fast-moving startup environments.

Open to interns: We welcome internship candidates for this role. Interns would own a scoped piece of a live client engagement and build a real prototype with direct mentorship — real work, not busywork.
