Freelance AI Reviewer, Data Collection

Uber AI Solutions is Uber’s marketplace connecting skilled freelancers with Generative AI researchers and product teams working on cutting-edge AI systems. We partner with independent contractors to support large-scale model evaluation, alignment, and quality initiatives.

We are currently seeking contributors to participate in AI reviewing and data collection tasks that require taking photos or recording your voice that support the development and improvement of speech and language AI models. 

This is a remote, contract-based task with a quick time commitment and flexible participation.

What you’ll work on

• Review prompt/context and model responses: Analyze the relationship between user inputs and AI outputs.
• Compare multiple outputs: Identify which responses best meet the established criteria.
• Evaluate responses across rubric dimensions: Score responses for factual accuracy, truthfulness, naturalness, completeness, and depth of insight.
• Provide written justification: Write short, structured explanations for your ratings.
• Identify model gaps: Flag hallucinations, missing context, or low-quality responses.
• Collect real-world data: Take photos of specific objects or spaces, or record yourself reading or answering different prompts using a mobile device.
• Follow guidelines: Ensure images and recordings meet quality requirements.
• Submit files: Upload your data collection through the Uber AI Solutions platform.

Project details

• Schedule: Fully flexible; complete the task at your convenience
• Location: Remote (United States-based)
• Engagement Type:  Freelance / Independent Contractor, through the Uber AI Solutions platform 
• Technology Requirements: Mobile device capable of capturing photos, video, and audio.
• Pay: Up to $20 per task with quality submission.
