Social Media Coordinator
Position Type: Contract/Part-Time (2-5 hours/week)
Location: Remote (U.S. preferred)
Duration: Initial 1 month engagement, with potential to continue through production.
Independent films don't get built by studios. They get built by people who believe in stories.
We're looking for a creative, motivated Social Media Coordinator to help us build an audience for Cadenza, an award-winning independent feature drama currently moving toward production.
This isn't a corporate marketing job. It's an opportunity to become part of a small creative team working to bring a deeply personal story to life.
About the Film:
At its heart, Cadenza is a story about healing, second chances, music, and finding the courage to reconnect with the world. The screenplay has been recognized by multiple screenwriting competitions and festivals, including as a Finalist in the Los Angeles International Screenwriting Awards, and we're now focused on building the audience that will help carry the project into production.
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who loves storytelling and wants to help champion independent filmmaking. Maybe you're:
• A film school or communications student or graduate
• An aspiring entertainment marketer
• A social media creator looking to build your portfolio
• A filmmaker who understands how important audience-building has become
• A story-driven creative person who wants to support meaningful work
*Experience is important, but passion, creativity, and initiative matter just as much.
What You'll Help Us Do:
• Build awareness for Cadenza across social platforms
• Create and schedule a comprehensive communication plan
• Help grow and engage a community around the project
• Support crowdfunding and audience-building efforts
• Share screenplay milestones, production updates, and behind-the-scenes content
• Contribute creative campaign ideas You'll have the opportunity to help shape the voice and identity of the project from an early stage.
