Assistant Ecologist

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Ecologist based in Lee on the Solent, Hampshire, to join our team in delivering professional ecological services to a diverse client base. In this role, you will balance office and field-based work, supporting senior ecologists with protected species surveys, technical data analysis—including bat acoustics and QGIS habitat mapping—and the production of ecological reports. The ideal candidate holds a relevant Bachelor’s degree, possesses strong field identification skills, maintains a full driver's licence, and demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience in BNG assessment, GIS, and holding Protected Species survey licences is highly desirable.
