Bookkeeping Specialist Intern

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join us as a Bookkeeping Specialist Intern. This internship will provide hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting processes, as well as exposure to the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in recording financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries.

Support the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.

Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records.

Aid in the preparation and processing of invoices, bills, and expense reports.

Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses as needed.

Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.

Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by supervisors.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Internship, flexible hours, partially remote
  • Office-based/home-office with extensive travel to client sites as required.
  • Salary: Competitive internship stipend
