Associate Sales Marketing

Associate- Sales and Marketing Pharmaceuticals OTC Medicine

Reports To: The Director OTC- Sales and Marketing and dotted line to the VP- OTC Sales and Operations

Location:  Princeton, NJ, in person M-F 9 am to 5 PM

Benefits:  Health, Medical and 401K (after honeymoon period)

Position Summary

This position is essentially a sales support role for a growing OTC/ CPG supplier with a strong consumer market presence at key retailers/ wholesalers in the US trade.  As a team player working in a tight-knit small-office environment,  the position will play a key cross-functional role supporting the commercial team across e-commerce operations, sample management, packaging specifications, and regulatory testing coordination. This position works closely with sales, marketing, and external manufacturing partners (CMOs) to ensure accurate product content, timely sample fulfillment, and well-maintained packaging documentation for the company's OTC product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Digital Content

  • Maintain and update the Amazon Vendor Central catalog, ensuring product listings are accurate, complete, and optimized
  • Manage new item setup on Amazon, including all required product data, attributes, and compliance documentation
  • Monitor and report customer product reviews, escalating quality or safety concerns as appropriate 
  • Coordinate content creation and image requests in partnership with the creative/marketing team to support e-commerce listings
  • Assist in onboarding and expanding new e-commerce customers and applications

Sales Support & Sample Management

  • Coordinate first production samples for internal review and customer approval
  • Fulfill sample requests for trade shows, ensuring adequate inventory and timely shipment
  • Process customer-specific sample requests and create customer-specific mockups as needed
  • Manage the office sample inventory and maintain an accurate sample log

Quality & Regulatory Testing Support

  • Coordinate UL TAQA testing requirements, including gathering samples from contract manufacturers (CMOs) for submission
  • Source and purchase National Brand Equivalent (NBE) samples for comparative testing

Packaging & Artwork

  • Create, review, and approve packaging specifications for products
  • Create, maintain, and distribute CMO Packaging Specification Master Sheets, ensuring version control and accuracy across all manufacturing partners

Data & Analytics

  • Pull and analyze IRI/Nielsen syndicated data as needed to support sales presentations, customer meetings, and category reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalence in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Entry level or 1-2 years of experience in sales support, e-commerce operations, or consumer packaged goods a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly with specifications and documentation
  • Effective cross-functional communicator, comfortable working with internal teams and external partners (CMOs, testing labs, customers)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
