Event Specialist

Part-Time from September-April on Thursday's-Saturday's as needed.

We will be travelling around Iowa on weekends putting Events/Banquets on for Whitetails Unlimited (WTU).  This is a premier Non-Profit Conservation group, established in 1982.  There are chapters scattered throughout Iowa and our job is to work with these Volunteers and help run their Event as efficiently as possible.  Events have 100-350 attendees.

 

What You’ll Do for each event

 

  • Meet at my shop (near Cedar Rapids, IA) & travel with me to area events in Iowa
  • Set up Banquet Halls, tables, chairs, stage, PA, and all decorations/equipment
  • Unload and load my truck and trailer with boxes and equipment
  • Events generally start around 4:30pm, Dinner severed at 6:30pm, ending 9:30ish
  • Throughout the event we assist in Raffles, Auctions and all other event needs.
  • Communicating with Committee “Volunteers” & Chapter members
  • Maintain a professional event and keep it fun & enjoyable, no arguing
