STEM Instructor (K–5) – Hands-On Learning | Lightkeepers International

Lightkeepers International is seeking a dynamic and engaging STEM Instructor to lead hands-on enrichment programs for elementary students (Grades K–5). This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about making science, engineering, and environmental learning interactive, creative, and fun.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging, hands-on STEM activities and projects
  • Teach core concepts in science, engineering, and environmental studies
  • Lead interactive science experiments and creative problem-solving challenges
  • Integrate elements of environmental art and sustainability into lessons
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with K–5 students in a classroom, camp, or after-school setting
  • Strong background in STEM subjects (science, engineering, environmental studies)
  • Ability to lead hands-on projects and experiments safely and effectively
  • Energetic, reliable, and strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for experiential and project-based learning

Preferred:

  • Teaching certification or relevant degree in education or STEM field
  • Experience with enrichment programs, camps, or informal education settings
