Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, positive, and team-oriented teacher to join our faculty for a 5th/6th Grade Combination Classroom, which will also include teaching 4th Grade Math.

The ideal candidate will bring innovative, effective practices into the classroom to deliver engaging and rigorous instruction. We strongly value outdoor education and actively encourage our educators to utilize our school forest and the surrounding natural environment as dynamic extensions of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

Innovative Instruction: Design and deliver rigorous, engaging lessons that challenge students and promote critical thinking using research-backed, effective practices.

Outdoor & Environmental Learning: Leverage the school forest and local outdoors to create immersive, hands-on learning experiences.

Whole-Child Focus: Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic growth and the social-emotional well-being of every student.

Team Collaboration: Maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude and collaborate closely with colleagues, administration, and community stakeholders.

Strong Relationships: Capitalize on small class sizes to build strong, supportive relationships with each student and their families.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

Licensure: Valid Wisconsin Teaching License in Elementary/Middle Level Education (or eligible for appropriate WI licensure).

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to collaborate within a dedicated team environment.

Experience: Open to both dynamic initial educators and seasoned teachers looking for a rewarding community.
