Technical Project Manager

About the Role

Programming.com is looking for a Technical Project Manager to sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and client delivery. You'll own the execution of technical projects end-to-end — translating business requirements into actionable technical plans, keeping engineering teams aligned, and serving as a trusted, client-facing voice throughout the project lifecycle.

This role suits someone who thinks like both an engineer and a product owner: comfortable in technical conversations, but equally focused on outcomes, timelines, and client value. You'll also have the opportunity to support business development efforts, helping shape proposals and scope conversations with prospective clients.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects, managing expectations and communication throughout delivery
• Translate business and client requirements into clear technical specifications and project plans
• Partner closely with engineering teams to scope work, manage timelines, track progress, and remove blockers
• Own project execution from kickoff to delivery — schedules, risk management, status reporting, and stakeholder alignment
• Support business development efforts, including scoping calls, proposal input, and technical discovery with prospective clients
• Stay current on emerging trends in AI, cloud technologies, and digital transformation, and help apply that thinking to client engagements
• Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding across the table
   

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Genuine interest in AI, cloud technologies, and digital transformation — this should excite you, not just be a resume line
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with confidence operating in client-facing settings
• Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and translate them for both engineers and business stakeholders
• A curious, coachable mindset — someone who is eager to learn our processes and grow into the role, rather than someone set in a particular way of working
• Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to problem-solving
• Prior project management experience is a plus but not required — we're open to strong early-career candidates and recent graduates with the right aptitude
