After-School Care Teacher

After-School CARES Teacher

Assumption BVM School is looking to hire a dynamic candidate to work in our after-school care program. Contact principal@abvmschoolwg.us for more information and/or to share your resume.

Time: 2:00 - 5:30 Monday through Friday when school is in session (days can be flexible depending on university course schedule).

Responsibilities:

- Provide care for students from Pre-K 4 years through 12 years old 

- Provide homework assistance

- Coordinate gross and fine motor skills activities
- Maintain a positive and supportive environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in tutoring, babysitting, childcare, or related fields

- Coursework in Education, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or Social Work is beneficial.  An associate in any of the aforementioned is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with childhood development
- Ability to work with students of various ages and skill levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be first aid certified and meet all clearance requirements
