Senior Lifeguard

 

The Clarion Scenic Rivers YMCA is looking to hire a part time Senior Lifeguard for the fall season. 

 

Qualifications

  • Lifeguarding/First Aid certification*, CPR/AED certifications OR willingness to obtain these certifications
  • Minimum age: 16
  • PA Clearances
  • Weekend availability

Duties

  • Maintaining a safe swimming/aquatic environment
  • Checking /maintaining pool chemicals, levels and record-keeping
  • Enforcing rules and policies of the pool and surrounding areas
  • Vacuuming and basic pool upkeep
  • Guaranteed to work 25 hours a week plus covering call offs
  • Must cover all shifts that are call offs or unfilled. 

Hourly Wage

  • $18 per hour

 

We are in desperate need of lifeguards starting in September. The more hours you are willing to work, the better! Please don't be flaky, be an open and honest communicator. All lifeguards get free YMCA gym memberships!
