About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on In-House Web Development Intern to join our team in Los Angeles. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to gain real-world experience working on websites, web applications, and digital projects.
You will work alongside our team to help build, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot web-based projects. We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in web development who is eager to learn, pays attention to detail, and takes initiative when solving problems.
This position will begin as a 3-month internship, with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance, skills, and overall fit with the team.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Some formal coding or programming education, such as having taken a coding, programming, computer science, or web development class
- Experience with at least one modern web framework, preferably React
- Comfortable using browser Developer Tools to inspect and troubleshoot websites
- Basic understanding of responsive web design
- Has built at least one website, application, or other web-based project
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub
- Exposure to TypeScript
- Basic backend or API experience, particularly Node.js or REST APIs
- Basic knowledge of web accessibility
- Personal, school, freelance, or open-source web development projects
- A portfolio demonstrating previous work
