Matchday Broadcast Assistant

About The Role

The Matchday Broadcast & Media Assistant supports live football coverage and matchday production activities. This role provides hands-on experience across sports broadcasting, livestream support, content capture and football media operations, offering students practical insight into a live production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with camera and tripod setup before matches
  • Support audio, power and internet connectivity checks
  • Assist with livestream setup and pre-match production testing
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content and social media footage
  • Record match notes including goals, substitutions and key incidents
  • Support backup recordings and post-match file management
  • Assist commentators, camera operators and production staff
  • Capture short-form content for social media platforms
  • Support equipment pack-down and post-match checks
