Position Title:                                    Student Prospect Researcher

Supervisor:                            Jesse Hlava

Supervisor Department:      Prospect Development

Primary Responsibilities:     

• Assist with data entry in UMAX
• Conduct basic research on constituents, corporations, and foundations
• Complete administrative tasks for the Prospect Development and Advancement Operations teams

Core Projects:

• Conduct philanthropic research on UMAF individual constituents, corporations, and foundations 
• Screen donors and prospective donors to ID potential high level UMAF donors
• Assist with data entry in UMAX, help ensure constituent records are accurate and have up to date information
• Complete administrative tasks for the Prospect Development and Advancement Operations teams

Required Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate student at UMass Amherst
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Interest in development, advancement in higher education a plus

Preferred College or Major:

• No preference

Hours:

• 15 hours per week
• Days in office TBD
