Uber AI Solutions is Uber's marketplace connecting experienced professionals with cutting-edge Generative AI research projects. We are looking for experienced Economics experts to collaborate on a client-led initiative focused on economics, quantitative reasoning, research, and analytical problem-solving.
This is a paid, freelance, project-based opportunity that is fully remote and offers standard working hours. If you have strong expertise in Economics and enjoy applying your knowledge to emerging AI technologies, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Work On
- Developing high-quality datasets involving economic concepts, quantitative reasoning, and analytical problem-solving.
- Writing prompts to curate the above datasets.
Project Details
Location: Remote
Weekly Commitment: 25–30 hours
Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor (1099)
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking experts with:
- A strong academic background in Economics or a closely related discipline.
- Strong understanding of core economic concepts and principles.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing economic problems and applying quantitative and analytical reasoning.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Experience in areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, behavioral economics, international economics, development economics, finance, or public economics is a plus.
- Experience with economic modeling, data analysis, statistical methods, or research is a plus.
- Experience working with AI, computational tools, machine learning, or technical research teams is a plus but not required.
- Must have PhD & Research experience in Economics or a related discipline.
