Associate Business Manager (Grants Administrator)

Title: ASSOCIATE BUSINESS MANAGER

Job Summary/Basic Functions

Under the broad supervision of the Business Manager, the incumbent provides administrative and financial support within the Neuroscience Center of Excellence. This includes personnel management, financial management, purchasing, and contract administration. The incumbent is responsible for implementing and adhering to all relevant rules, regulations, and policies of the University, the State, and the Federal Government as they relate to the administration and financial operations of departmental programs, contracts, grants, and other activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's

Required Field of Study: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Number of years required to perform the job: 3 years

Type of experience required to perform the job: 3 year of relevant, professional level experience

Substitution: Bachelor's degree in another discipline will be considered with an additional 3 years of relevant experience. Master's degree in business related field can substitute for 2 years of experience
