The team are led by Chief Investment Officer and Citywire Top 100 Wealth Manager Dr Scott Osborne, and are based in St Paul’s Square, Liverpool.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the CIO in researching and analysing potential investments across different asset classes.
- Learn essential research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Contribute to drafting research notes and presentations under senior guidance.
- Support team activities and projects to gain diverse experiences.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations under supervision.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to gain exposure to client interactions (optional) and contribute to client-facing materials .
- Attend meetings and events with fund managers, industry representatives and peers.
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree Qualified in an industry relevant or quantitative/analytical discipline
- A strong interest in finance and investments.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for learning.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills (development of this will be encouraged).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with our senior investment analyst and CIO.
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude, including the desire to pursue industry qualifications.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in fund research and software tools (Morningstar, Lipper).
- Understanding/experience of financial advisory firms and integrated investment management solutions.
- Postgraduate qualification in a quantitative discipline.
