Recreational Gymnastics Coach

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Recreational Gymnastics Coach to inspire and motivate participants of all ages in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. In this role, you will lead gymnastics classes, participate in engaging training programs, and foster a love for physical activity through dynamic coaching. Responsibilities

  • Lead recreational gymnastics classes for children ages 12 mo. to 13 years, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
  • Implement age-appropriate training routines that promote skill development, flexibility, strength, and coordination
  • Monitor participant progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage continuous improvement
  • Enforce safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and adherence to gym rules
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition
  • Communicate effectively with children and parents about class schedules, progress updates, and safety guidelines

Skills

  • Experience working with children in a coaching or childcare setting
  • Knowledge of gymnastics techniques and sports-specific training instruction
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with participants, parents, and staff
  • Ability to demonstrate basic gymnastics skills safely while providing clear instructions
  • Background in sports coaching experience such as cheer, dance, gymnastics, etc.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage behavior and motivate students

* Must have reliable transportation.
