About OutPastMidnight, LLC:

We manage artists, produce live events, and create opportunities for emerging talent while providing services across music, media, design, and live production. Rooted in community, creativity, culture, and collaboration, OPM is committed to creating meaningful experiences and expanding access to the arts.

Position Overview
OutPastMidnight, LLC is seeking a creative and reliable Photography Intern to join our team and document the energy, people, and experiences behind our live events. This role is ideal for a photographer passionate about live music, concert photography, nightlife, and visual storytelling.

The primary focus of this position will be live event photography, including concerts, open mics, showcases, community events, and other OutPastMidnight productions. You’ll capture performances, artists, audiences, behind-the-scenes moments, and the overall atmosphere of each event, creating a visual archive that can be used across social media, promotional campaigns, press materials, and future projects.

As you develop within the role, there may also be opportunities to participate in creative shoots, artist photoshoots, album/cover artwork, and other visual projects based on your skill level and interests.

We also encourage photographers to bring their own creative ideas to the table. If you have a concept, project, or visual story you want to create through OPM, you’ll have the opportunity to pitch your ideas and collaborate with the team to bring them to life.

  • Pitch and develop original photography concepts, creative projects, and visual campaigns that align with OPM’s brand and artists.
  • Attend events and work professionally in fast-paced, sometimes low-light environments.
  • Meet agreed-upon deadlines for photo delivery and communicate proactively with the team

Qualifications:

  • Must have access to your own professional camera equipment suitable for live event photography, including a DSLR or mirrorless camera and appropriate lenses.
  • Comfortable photographing in low-light, fast-paced environments and capturing moving subjects.
  • Ability to anticipate moments and capture authentic performances, crowd reactions, and behind-the-scenes interactions.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, or similar.
  • Ability to deliver high quality edited photos within agreed upon deadlines.
  • Reliable and comfortable working evenings, weekends, and live events.
