Elementary Teacher (K-2)

Mater Academy Texas is seeking a passionate and dedicated K–2 Elementary Teacher to join our team as we open a new campus in San Antonio, Texas, for the 2027–2028 school year.

As one of our founding educators, you will play an important role in establishing a strong academic foundation and positive school culture from the very beginning.

We are looking for a teacher who is committed to student achievement, meaningful relationships, engaging instruction, and creating a classroom where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction.
• Create a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Monitor student progress and use data to inform instruction.
• Build positive relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership.
• Support the development of a strong school culture.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Texas certification or eligibility for certification preferred.
