Treston Security Services is hiring dependable and professional Special Events Security Officers for the upcoming event in Anaheim. Selected candidates will help maintain a safe, organized and welcoming environment for attendees, exhibitors, staff and event partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas, entrances, exits and event spaces.
• Assist with access control, credential verification and line management.
• Provide professional directions and customer service to attendees.
• Observe, identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards or policy violations.
• Support crowd management and help maintain orderly movement throughout the venue.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, conflicts and emergencies.
• Follow event procedures, post orders and supervisor instructions.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members and event personnel.
• Complete incident reports and other required documentation accurately.
• Maintain a professional appearance and remain attentive throughout the assigned shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be available for assigned shifts between September 3 and September 17, including possible evenings, weekends and extended shifts.
• Must be dependable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Must demonstrate professional communication and customer-service skills.
• Must be able to remain calm and use good judgment in crowded or high-pressure situations.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Anaheim worksite.
• Must satisfy all applicable background-screening, licensing and company onboarding requirements.

Guard Card Information

A current California BSIS Guard Card is preferred. Applicants who do not currently have a Guard Card may still submit their information but must identify their current Guard Card status. Assignment to licensed security duties is contingent upon satisfying all applicable licensing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security, customer service, military, law enforcement, public safety or special-event experience.
• Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Homeland Security or related education or training.
• Experience working at conventions, concerts, festivals, corporate events or other large public gatherings.
• Strong observation, de-escalation, communication and report-writing skills.
• Leadership experience for applicants interested in supervisor or manager positions.
