Buy-Side Investment Professional

Unique buy-side opportunity to work in entrepreneurial alternative investment firm led by senior partners with 25+ years’ experience and strong global networks. 

Amakor Capital was founded in 2015 by senior investment professionals with experience in hedge funds, private equity and M&A in both New York and London. The Firm focuses on identifying, sourcing, cultivating relationships with and investing in the best late-stage technology companies, as well as select public market opportunities.

We are looking for seasoned technology or growth equity investor with 4+ years of experience. Candidates should be able to work in Europe, have a strong network and be self-motivated to work in a nimble and highly entrepreneurial growth/late-stage technology investing firm based in London.

·      Sourcing opportunities, performing all necessary due diligence, and executing deals

·      Reviewing companies for investment purposes, writing investment memos and defending your thesis to the investment committee

·      Researching technology trends, industry verticals, deal flow, venture investment trends and other relevant topics

·      Networking with start-up founders, investors, and others in the start-up ecosystem

·      This individual will have the opportunity to work underneath the senior members of the firm and must have the ability to supervise, mentor, manage and develop talent

·      Genuine opportunity to partake in the success of the firm, which has one of the best track records within technology investing in both Europe and the U.S.

·      Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience of tech-focused investing at a venture capital/private equity firm; previous experience in TMT investment banking is a plus

·      A bachelor’s degree from a top college or university, preferably in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or other analytical disciplines and an MBA from either Harvard or Stanford

·      The ability to articulate and debate opinions on potential investments

·      A strong desire to work within the Growth Equity space

·      Proven track record of success in previous roles

·      An entrepreneurial temperament, be highly motivated and a self-starter

·      The ability to work from Europe / The right to work in the UK
