Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Teachers

We are growing and actively looking for the perfect candidates to join our CNS Early Learning Center family. Candidate Qualifications:

• Friendly, inviting, imaginative, and passionate
• Previous experience in child care is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to adapt to varying hours
• Must comply with state requirements for child care positions
• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional skills.
• Provide attentive care by supporting daily routines.
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation and independence.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to build strong partnerships.
• Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress, attendance records, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum tailored to individual needs, including special education or early intervention strategies when necessary.
• Ensure safety standards are upheld at all times by following health protocols such as first aid and CPR procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and supervising children closely.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of child development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with curriculum development methods including Montessori or other educational frameworks suited for infants and toddlers.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood welfare laws is a plus.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
• Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is advantageous.
