Position OverviewTogether We Grow Kids Co. is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Part-Time or Full-Time Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position focuses on supporting the growth and development of infants ages 6 weeks to approximately 2 years in a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment.
The Infant Teacher plays an important role in creating a classroom that promotes secure attachments, early development, and individualized care for each child.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe Infant Teacher will be responsible for creating a calm and nurturing learning environment where infants feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore their surroundings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive and responsive care to infants throughout the day
- Supporting infants' social, emotional, language, and physical development
- Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate sensory and play-based activities
- Maintaining safe sleep practices and following infant care routines such as feeding, diapering, and comforting
- Observing and documenting developmental milestones and progress
- Supervising infants during indoor and outdoor activities
- Communicating daily with parents about their child's routines, development, and experiences
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Following all Wisconsin state licensing regulations and center policies

- Has a passion for working with infants and supporting early development
- Is patient, nurturing, and dependable
- Understands the importance of responsive caregiving and building secure attachments
- Enjoys creating engaging sensory and exploratory learning experiences
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
- Communicates effectively with families and coworkers
- Experience in Early Childhood Education and Child Development preferred
- Experience working with infants in a childcare or early learning environment
- Knowledge of infant development and best practices in infant care
- Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with families and staff
- Prior experience as an assistant or lead early childhood educator preferred
- Understanding of diverse learning needs and development
