Early Childhood Teacher- late day 3pm-6 pm

Seeking a part time late day (3-6 pm M-Th and 2-5 on Friday) Early Childhood teacher.  We are looking for a passionate teacher who will be responsible for the care and education of 3-5 year olds in our school. In this position, you will create a safe and nurturing environment for infants to learn and grow. You will also be expected to design and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to support their development. 

Responsibilities 
• Create and implement daily lesson plans that align with the developmental needs of infants 
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn 
• Attend to the physical and emotional needs of children 
• Observe and document developmental progress of children and communicate with parents/guardians regularly 
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education 
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom 
• Follow all state and federal regulations regarding infant care and education 
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Working towards, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or:
• experience working with young children
• Knowledge of child development and care 
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues 
• Patience and ability to handle high-stress situations 
• Strong understanding of child development and early education curriculum 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
