Location: Dickinson, Texas (Onsite and Hybrid) Employment Type: Part-Time Internship | 8 hours/week minimum
About the Role
We're a small, family-owned day spa looking for a creative self-starter to help us grow our presence online. This isn't a desk-only gig — you'll spend real time at the spa, working alongside our staff, capturing content that shows what we actually do and who we are.
What you'll do
- Develop and post engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, staying current with platform trends and algorithm shifts. - Spend at least 8 hours per week on-site (weekly/biweekly visits), shooting photo and video content with staff. - Plan and execute short-form video content tailored to each platform's audience. - Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and track basic performance metrics. - Brainstorm seasonal promotions, service spotlights, and campaign ideas that fit a small-business budget. - Collaborate closely with spa staff to reflect the authentic feel of the business.
About you
- Experience managing social media accounts — you know what performs and why. - Comfortable on camera and behind it; shooting and editing short-form video is second nature. - Familiar with TikTok trends, Instagram Reels, and Facebook content strategies. - Reliable and self-directed — you can show up, shoot, and deliver without a lot of hand-holding. - Some background in the spa, wellness, or beauty industry is a plus, not a requirement. - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
