Senator Christopher Belt 2026 Campaign Internship

Hours Required: 10-20 Weekly

Positions Open: 8

Pay: $18/hour

Working Hours: Noon-Sundown

Office Location: 705 Range Lane, Cahokia Heights

Minimum Requirements:

-Valid Driver's License

-Reliable Transportation

-Smartphone

-Currently Enrolled at University

Responsibilities:

-Direct Voter Contact through texting, phone calls and door-to-door canvassing

-Assist with campaign targeting and coordinated canvassing efforts

-In-house mail programs

Takeaways from Internship:

-How a political campaign runs and functions

-How to use proprietary voter data software

-Make connections in Illinois politics

 

For Senator Belt's 2026 campaign, we are looking for motivated individuals wishing to work hard and make a name for themselves. You will get as much out of this internship as you put in. This is a great way to open doors for yourself and get started in Illinois politics. We are extremely flexible with class schedules; we just require that you work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
