Aquatics & Recreation Management Director

Woodruff Scout Camp is seeking an experienced and energetic Aquatics & Recreation Management Director to lead our summer aquatics program. This position provides hands-on experience managing a large recreational program, supervising staff, coordinating daily activities, and maintaining a strong culture of safety and customer service.

The Aquatics Director will lead and supervise the aquatics staff, coordinate schedules and program operations, oversee waterfront safety, support instructional programs, maintain equipment and facilities, and ensure established safety procedures are followed. The Director will also serve as a member of the camp leadership team and help create an engaging and positive experience for Scouts and staff.

Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organization, and team-management skills. Appropriate aquatics certifications and demonstrated swimming and lifesaving abilities are required for the position.

This is a paid, residential summer leadership position. Housing, meals, staff uniforms, and weekly pay are provided. The position may qualify for college internship or field-experience credit depending on the student's college or university.
