System Technician

We are looking for a motivated and technically curious System Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for fresh graduates who are interested in IT infrastructure, servers, networking, and datacenter operations. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of computer hardware and networking, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn hands-on datacenter operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network equipment, and other datacenter hardware.
• Perform server and hardware rack/stack activities, including cabling and equipment labeling.
• Monitor datacenter systems and respond to basic hardware or connectivity alerts.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and replace components such as hard drives, memory, power supplies, and cables as needed.
• Support equipment moves, additions, removals, and inventory activities.
• Follow standard operating procedures for equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with network and server connectivity checks.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware, assets, cabling, and maintenance activities.
• Escalate complex hardware, network, or infrastructure issues to senior technicians or engineers.
• Follow all datacenter safety, security, access-control, and operational procedures.
• Work with IT, Network, Systems, and Infrastructure teams to support day-to-day datacenter operations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with components such as servers, CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, and network cables.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and IP addressing.
• Comfortable using basic troubleshooting tools and following technical procedures.
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work in a hands-on technical environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies and follow established processes.
