Graphic Designer
Graphic Designer
We’re looking for an early-career Graphic Designer with a strong visual eye, solid design fundamentals, and attention to detail. Working closely with our Art Director, you’ll translate creative direction into polished brand content and effective advertising creative.
Your work will be split approximately 50% social media creative and 50% paid advertising, primarily featuring products, with some imagery combining people and products.
What You’ll Do
Social Media & Brand Creative — 50%
- Create polished social media graphics that reflect the brand’s visual identity.
- Color-correct and grade imagery to achieve consistent, intentional tones across products, skin tones, and backgrounds.
- Edit product imagery, including basic cleanup, background adjustments, and compositing.
- Apply brand guidelines consistently across typography, color, imagery, and layout.
- Incorporate feedback from the Art Director and prepare accurate, production-ready assets.
Paid Advertising — 50%
- Turn creative briefs and marketing strategy into clear, compelling ad graphics.
- Use typography, imagery, and information hierarchy to communicate product benefits and calls to action.
- Develop variations of an ad concept for creative testing.
- Adapt assets across formats and placements while maintaining visual consistency.
- Refine designs based on creative feedback and performance insights provided by the team.
What We’re Looking For
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual judgment through thoughtful typography, composition, color, and image selection.
- Strong working proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Confident Photoshop skills in color correction, tonal consistency, basic product cleanup, and compositing.
- Proficiency in Figma for graphic design, layout, and asset production.
- Ability to follow creative direction, work within brand guidelines, and carry feedback through to a polished final result.
- Attention to detail and the ability to organize files and manage deadlines.
- Curiosity about visual trends and how design influences audience response.
This is an early-career role. You’ll receive creative direction and strategic guidance; we’re looking for strong fundamentals, thoughtful execution, and a willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Advanced product or portrait retouching, including skin and material refinement, detailed blemish removal, and complex compositing.
- Familiarity with conversion-focused design or experience creating paid social ads.
- Motion design skills in Adobe After Effects.
Portfolio Requirements
A working portfolio link is required. Please include the following in your portfolio or a linked PDF:
- Brand social creative: A cohesive set of social media graphics demonstrating consistent visual style.
- Advertising creative: Multiple executions of the same ad concept, showing how you vary imagery, layout, messaging, or hierarchy.
- Image editing: Before-and-after examples demonstrating color correction and image editing. Advanced retouching is welcome but not required.
For each example, briefly explain the brief and your contribution. Class projects, internships, freelance work, and clearly labeled self-initiated projects are welcome. Paid advertising examples do not need to include campaign performance data.
This role focuses on graphic design, image editing, and advertising creative. UI/UX-only portfolios do not meet the portfolio requirements. Applications without a working portfolio link will not be considered.
