About Us

RBM Bookkeeping & Notary Services LLC is a newly established professional bookkeeping firm located in Anaheim, California. We provide accounting and bookkeeping services to businesses across various industries, including construction, manufacturing, retail, and other business sectors.

As we build our team, we are seeking a motivated individual with an educational background in accounting who is eager to gain practical, hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment.

We especially encourage recent accounting graduates, business graduates with accounting coursework, and college students approaching graduation to apply.

An Opportunity to Learn More Than One Area of Accounting

Many entry-level accounting positions focus primarily on one specific function, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Payroll.

While these positions provide valuable experience, they may offer limited exposure to the broader accounting process.

Our goal is to provide a different learning experience.

At RBM Bookkeeping & Notary Services LLC, we believe aspiring accounting professionals should have the opportunity to understand how different accounting functions work together to support a business.

Rather than limiting your responsibilities to a single accounting function, we aim to provide hands-on training and exposure to multiple areas of accounting, allowing you to apply the knowledge gained through your education in real-world business situations.

What You Will Learn

Working directly with an accounting professional with over 20 years of experience, you will have opportunities to develop practical knowledge in:

Accounts Payable: Invoice processing, vendor management, payment preparation, and account reconciliations.

Accounts Receivable: Customer invoicing, payment applications, account monitoring, and receivables management.

Payroll Accounting: Payroll preparation, timekeeping review, payroll reporting, and related journal entries.

General Ledger Accounting: Preparing and posting journal entries, reviewing account balances, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Bank Reconciliations: Reconciling bank and credit card accounts and investigating discrepancies.

Financial Reporting: Understanding and preparing Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and other financial reports.

Month-End Closing: Learning the procedures involved in closing accounting periods and maintaining accurate financial statements.

Collections: Understanding customer account follow-ups, aging reports, and collection procedures.

Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Learning how financial transactions move through the accounting process, from their initial entry through financial reporting.

Accounting Software: Developing practical experience with QuickBooks and other accounting applications used by our clients.

Training and responsibilities will be introduced progressively based on your experience, demonstrated abilities, and the needs of our clients.

Learn Accounting Across Different Industries

One of the advantages of working with a bookkeeping firm is the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple businesses rather than working exclusively within one company's accounting department.

Our goal is to help you understand how accounting practices and financial reporting requirements vary across industries, including:

Construction and contracting

Manufacturing

Retail and sales

Professional services

Small and growing businesses

This exposure can help you develop a broader understanding of accounting and build a foundation for your future career.

Qualifications

We encourage applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:

Recently graduated with a degree or certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; OR

Currently enrolled in the final year of an accounting or business-related program with several accounting courses completed.

Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and financial statements.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

Professional attitude, reliability, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Previous accounting employment is not required.

Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus, but not required.

We understand the importance of gaining professional experience when beginning an accounting career.

As a member of our team, you will receive:

Direct mentorship: Learn from an accounting professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting.
