About the opportunity
Bridgeworks Baking Company is looking for a creative, organized person to help turn ideas into appealing designs and coordinated marketing campaigns that attract customers and build our brand.
This hands-on role offers experience across both retail and commercial sales channels. You'll help create consumer-facing promotions for our bakery and business-to-business marketing materials supporting wholesale sales to cafés, restaurants, and other businesses.
Working directly with ownership, you'll help take projects from concept and design through launch and evaluating results. Your work will appear across our large roadside Watchfire LED sign, window and menu displays, website, social media, and other advertising and sales materials.
We welcome college students, recent graduates, and early-career applicants interested in combining strong design with practical marketing experience.
What you'll do
- Develop coordinated campaigns for products, seasonal offerings, and bakery promotions, carrying a consistent concept across relevant channels.
- Create and adapt graphics for roadside signage, in-store displays, menus, web, and social media, considering each format's audience and readability.
- Develop commercial sales materials, such as product sheets, wholesale presentations, and branded promotional materials for prospective business customers.
- Help plan a manageable promotional calendar and carry projects through revisions, approval, and launch.
- Create social media content, write short promotional copy, and assist with routine website content updates.
- Coordinate with the bakery team to ensure product information, pricing, availability, and promotional timing are accurate.
- Keep design files, templates, and brand materials organized for efficient reuse.
- Help evaluate promotions using available sales information, customer feedback, and digital engagement, and suggest improvements.
- Assist with product photography and photo editing if these are part of your skill set.
What we're looking for
- A portfolio demonstrating a good eye for layout, typography, color, and clear visual communication.
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or comparable design software.
- Interest in creating advertising that communicates clearly and encourages customers to act.
- Organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
- Ability to collaborate, incorporate feedback, and work independently on agreed-upon priorities.
- Willingness to become familiar with our products, customers, and brand, including some on-site coordination at the bakery.
Photography, short-form video, website content management, and campaign reporting experience are helpful, but not all are required. Coursework, student organization projects, personal projects, and freelance work are welcome portfolio examples.
