Account Executive – Marketing Consultant

Department: Sales       Reports To: General Sales Manager    Location:  Macon, GA

Position Overview

WMGT 41NBC, Georgia’s only Georgia-owned NBC affiliate is seeking a driven Account Executive / Marketing Consultant. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive television, digital, and outdoor advertising strategies to help local and regional businesses grow – while earning the industries highest commission rates. 

Core Qualifications

  • Experience: Digital Sales or Implementation.      Media Sales or relevant sales/marketing experience.  Motivation and Curiosity are a must. 
  • Education: A degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field (preferred).

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure new business partnerships across Middle Georgia for Television, anywhere and everywhere for digital services.
  • Consultative Selling: Analyze client needs and provide tailored multi-media advertising solutions based on a proven selling and delivery method. 
  • Campaign Management: Oversee client campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring strong ROI.  Attention to detail and a desire to grow required.

  • Broadcast Television: Commercial spot campaigns, news sponsorships, sponsored content, and video production.
  • Digital Agency Services: Search, Programmatic, OTT/CTV, Targeted Display ads, Meta Ads, posts and targeting, conversion tracking, website hosting and design. 
  • Station Digital Assets: 41nbc.com and mobile app including Contesting (For Lead Gen); News Sponsorships; Local Initiatives (Cherry Blossom Festival, 41 Days of Christmas) and Home Page Takeovers
