QA Engineer Intern
Description:
As a QA Engineer intern in the DJI Silicon Valley office, you will be part of a growing, dynamic team responsible for the development of technologies and applications that will transform the unmanned aerial robotics industry, and with it the world. Through testing the UX SDK project, you will learn the key features and methods of the DJI Mobile SDKs. After you are well versed in the fundamentals of our diverse mobile and web application projects, you will choose one for which to develop automated testing for it, or expand the current automated testing.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately execute all assigned test cases
- Perform functional, stress, and performance tests on multiple levels of our SDK platforms.
- Test and detect defects in potential new features or upgrades to the mobile app using established manual methods
- Test UI and functionality on DJI SDK platforms on a daily basis
- Find and report detailed, but concise bugs depending on the software and product specs
- Introduction to Jira, Confluence, Testrail, and Selenium for applications
- Create and expand automated regression tests with Python/Selenium/XCTest/Expresso
Required Skills/Experience:
* Working towards (or recently received) a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
* Hands on Manual and Automation testing experience
* Programming knowledge a plus, if not you will be introduced to basic concepts.
* Highly organized, dependable and amazing attention to detail
* Ability to teach yourself new technologies, processes, and products at a fast pace.
* Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
* Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) a big plus.
* Experience with any of the following technologies: Jira and Confluence, Python, Selenium Webdriver, Git, Swift, XCTest with Swift, Android development, Expresso, JAVA, SQL, Jenkins, Selenium Grid, Appium, Postman
* Have designed, built and/or enjoy flying remote controlled aerial vehicles
