Software Engineer (Entry Level)
Founded in 1999, ZL Technologies has proven itself as the specialized provider of electronic content archiving software for the most demanding large enterprise environments. The award-winning ZL Unified Archive® addresses E-Discovery, compliance, records management and storage optimization.
We are looking to hire a group of 3-6 entry-level software engineers to join our company. Our goal is for these candidates to "scale up" as Software Developers over the course of their first few years at ZL.
Our platform is enterprise-class, and the code base is enormous. It will take a few years to be able to contribute meaningfully to the Development of the platform.
In the meantime, to contribute while you're coming up to speed, your responsibilities could include:
- Working with ZL customers to resolve any challenges that arise from use of the software;
- Proactively engaging customers in training sessions, and going the extra mile to ensure their success with the platform;
- Managing large-scale (billions of documents) data migration projects for ZL's customers
- Conducting quality assurance testing with the product;
- Finding innovative ways for current ZL customers to improve their experience and achieve best practices within their organization;
- Stress-testing the product before software releases are made available to customers;
- Training customers on how to effectively use basic and advanced feature sets within the product
- Escalating any technical bugs or issues reported by customers to the proper parties
