Act of Valor Foundation Internship

The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation

If interested in this internship opportunity, please go to the following website and take 2 minutes to fill out our short official application. This quick survey must be filled out in order to be considered for the internship program: https://actofvaloraward.org/student-internship-application/

Our interns get to work at a pace and time commitment that is dictated by the individual intern based on their individual career goals and ambitions. Our internship is voluntary without pay but supports most College and University internship programs offering college credit hours for participation. Unlike many corporate internship programs, our Nonprofit Foundation does not limit a students' tenure to a fixed period of time or school year. Students are invited to stay involved with increased responsibilities throughout the undergraduate, graduate or early work phases of their career. Our STAR recognition and Fellowship programs along with our Junior Advisor categories recognize intern performance, contributions and continued development over a multi-year engagement.

The intern will be exposed to marketing, communications, public relations, baseball operations, fundraising, and business development. All interns gain a stronger understanding of military study, both past and present, including working with Public Affairs from all branches. Working on committees will help interns develop in all key aspects of how a non-profit foundation operates and will learn practical business skills while working as a team.
