The sponsorship opportunity is an excellent opportunity for those who are highly competitive and motivated. If selected, the law enforcement academy will be completely paid for as well as uniforms and books. You will also be paid a salary ($20.14 an hour) and given full insurance benefits from day 1. The pay goes up after graduation and swearing in. The entire hiring process is done first (approximately 4 months) then if selected by our Sheriff, the candidate will attend our 5 month long police academy here in central Florida. We are looking for physically fit individuals that will be able to keep up with one of the toughest academies in Florida.
