Junior Business Intelligence Consultant

Job Duties:
proALPHA Software Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Consultant with data analytics experience to join our team in the Nashua, New Hampshire area. As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you will support our customers from conception to implementation of innovative BI solutions, utilizing our proALPHA ERP software. You will work with our customers as a technologically competent partner in the area of BI.

The Business Intelligence Consultant is a multifaceted role working in collaboration with other teams across the business to support our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based analytics, robust data solutions, and mission-critical communications management for our customers. 

  • Identifying and gathering customer requirements and translating those requirements into process concepts and technical specifications,
  • Train clients on systems installation,
  • Reporting, controlling, and KPI concepts,
  • Project management,
  • Assist customers in creating custom reporting solutions based on Qlikview software,
  • Responsible for the transfer of tailor-made BI solutions to our customers,
  • Advise business leaders and management as well as support the IT departments of our customers in their search for a reliable analysis and control system,
  • Develop functional and technical requirements and present the overall concept(s),
  • Develop and implement Dashboards,
  • Utilizing the framework of qualification measures, ensure that all users are familiar with the routine handling,
  • Define ETL processes and data modeling

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Technology,
  • Experience in Qlikview (preferably), Crystal Reports, MicrosoftTableau or Microsoft PowerBI,
  • Ability to travel in the continental US ~ 50%; occasional international travel
  • US citizen or current & continued authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship,
  • German and/or Spanish is a plus,
  • Proactive business approach,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Strong team orientation,
  • Sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines,
  • Motivation, independence & interpersonal skills to keep in close contact with customer users,
  • Enjoys working in international environments and with international teams
