GeoEngineers, Inc., a leading national earth science and technology consulting firm, is seeking a CAD Intern for our Tacoma, WA or Baton Rouge, LA location to join our team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a CAD Intern, you’ll help us tell the story of each project site visually. Our most successful CAD specialists can present accurate technical details with creative visual flair. You’ll support GeoEngineers’ projects by developing routine graphics, figures and basic aspects of design drawings. Using your knowledge of the drafting process, you’ll work with senior CAD staff and project managers to ensure that drawings match industry standards and internal CAD guidelines. As part of our close-knit, decentralized CAD team, you’ll work with experienced CAD professionals on a variety of projects from our geotechnical, environmental, and natural resources groups. Our diverse projects will keep you busy with fresh challenges.

Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; AA degree or technical degree in progress.
- One year of experience producing civil and/or environmental engineering drawings and figures preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD and basic understanding of Civil3D required
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional-level verbal and written communication skills
