Job Description: Creative Intern
This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside the owner of the company. The internship provides the opportunity to learn more about the contemporary art market and arts business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of artwork exhibitions, including preparation of proposals, locating relevant customers and venues and preparing promotional materials
- Conducting research and creating marketing campaigns
- Maintaining client (artist/buyer) networks and contacts
- Tracking artist opportunities (grants, open calls for submissions, etc.)
- Other various administrative and creative tasks
Requirements: Organized, independent, professional, 4-year college degree or currently enrolled college student, advanced writing and research skills, interest in art, marketing and/or business management.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop or Spanish Language, a plus.
This is a part-time onsite position. 15-20 hours per week, schedule is flexible.
We are excited to announce that we are in the process of opening a gallery/event space! While we will always have remote opportunities, we are looking for mostly onsite assistance at this time.
