The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Parking and Transit Manager
Parking and Transit Operations

Responsible for the administration and leadership of the University Parking and Transit Services Department. The primary responsibilities include administering the department’s budget, monitoring income and expenses, overseeing payroll deduction processes for parking permit holders, and managing the department’s staff. Other key functions include managing customer service, permit sales, reserved parking issuance, parking lot enforcement, appeal processing, and parking facility operation and maintenance.
Other responsibilities include oversight of the campus shuttle services, special event parking and transportation, parking structure operations, ADA parking accommodations, and the Parking and Transportation Committee agendas. This position will work closely with students, faculty, and staff, Public Safety, Facilities Management and Planning, University Communications, Sustainability, as well as many other stakeholders on campus to coordinate campus-wide parking and transportation for daily and major events. In addition, this position will work with the City, neighboring church partners, Metro transit, and other outside entities regarding parking, traffic, transportation, and signage issues.
Required Qualifications:
·        Valid Driver’s License is required.
and
·        Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business related field)
·        Two years of experience in parking services or three years in a professional business operations position.
·        Two years of supervisory/management experience is required.
or
·        High School diploma (or equivalent)
·        Four years of experience in parking services or five years in a professional business operations position.
·        Two years of supervisory/management experience is required.
 
Salary Information: Commensurate with Qualifications
